Welcome to the Fighting 69th Infantry Division
Who are we? The Fighting 69th Infantry Division is a group of people who like to get together and have fun. Think of us as a family of World War II reenactors minus some of the realism and rules and using a mouse and keyboard. I'm back up and running. It was the video card and not the motherboard.
We had to work at getting my wireless network card working again but now that's all set as well.

I know seizures can be serious depending on the type and cause, but given the option of a stroke or something else even more serious, I'm very happy that is what it was. Though I'm sure this will mean career issues with the military and hardship for the family, I'm glad Eric isn't dealing with a life threatening issue.

Now I'm getting worried about my Dell laptop. It gets hot. I mean really hot... It will burn your habd if your not careful. I know the fans work for I can hear them working and I can feel the air moving around. I'm just concerned with how hot it gets.
did you ever check to see if yours was affected by the battery recalls that Dell has had?

I have activated the downloads section here on the website. This allows registered users to download files and also to point to files online to add to the downloads.
If you have a file that you would like us to host for download, contact me at desertfox[AT]thefighting69thid.com. (Replace [AT] with @)
with details of where to get the file and I will put it up on our server.
We currently accept files that are content generated by our members (stories, graphics, movies, etc.) or files that are related to gaming such as tweaks, crosshair packs, sprite packs, sound packs, etc.
All new downloads are verified before putting them up to make sure they are available. However, we cannot verify that all downloads that are hosted somewhere else are virus free. Download at your own risk and make sure to scan the files for your own safety!
Unfortunately, the download system as is, makes the categories hard to read when uploading. Just make sure you get it in a category that looks generally right, give it a good description and I'll get it into the right category when it is approved.
I think it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyhow. Absolutely nothing obscene is to be submitted. Violate that and your download privileges will be revoked. :)

I have received reports that a small number of people have had trouble logging in after the move to the new domain. If you have this problem do the following:
When your login attempt fails:
1) Click on forgot password.
2) Enter your nickname and click Send Password
3) Check your email and get the confirmation code
4) Go back to the forgot password form and enter your nickname and the confirmation code.
5) You will receive a new password to login with.
If for some reason this does not work for you, send an email to desertfox[AT]thefighting69thid.com. (Replace [AT] with @)
